The CAB EOS2 thermal transfer label printer lets you print your own custom labels to suit your needs, with a logo, text, numbering and/or variable barcodes. The resulting labels offer print quality close to those shown at the beginning of the catalog.
Our CAB thermal transfer label printer: compact size, big performance
The compact shape of this CAB label printer makes it an ideal tool for small spaces. Made with high-quality materials, all components as well as the outer housing of this German-made thermal transfer label printer are perfectly matched. The label print resolution is 203 or 300 dpi depending on the selected model. With a print speed of up to 150 mm/s, you’ll quickly get all the labels you need.
The display makes this thermal transfer printer very comfortable to use. It’s very easy to view and select all available functions directly from the screen.
Intuitive from label design to printer maintenance
Included with the CAB label printer, Cablabel S3 Lite software lets you design your labels. The many tools available help you create a high-quality final custom label that best suits your needs. Cablabel S3 Lite does not allow printing variable barcodes. The Pro version of Cablabel S3 supports this type of printing, as well as database connection and import from the software installed on a computer. You can try this Pro version for 30 days before installing it permanently on your computer.
After designing your custom labels, you can save the file to a USB drive or to the EOS2 printer’s internal memory. Adding data to the CAB thermal transfer label printer is easy thanks to its four available USB ports: one on the control panel, one on the external control panel, and two on the back of the printer. You can connect a USB drive, service key, Wi-Fi key, Bluetooth, keyboard or barcode scanner. Printing labels on a roll can thus be done in several sessions; the printer keeps all saved files in its memory and runs autonomously without needing to be connected to a computer.
The large transparent cover lets you check consumable roll status at any time. In addition, the label and ribbon rolls are very easy to load. Once loaded, the label roll holder centers automatically when the cover is closed, while the ribbon holder is adjusted using its stop according to ribbon width. The label sensor detects the start and end of the roll.
The printhead can be removed without tools for cleaning or replacement.
A mobile version of this thermal transfer label printer you can take anywhere

The EOS2 thermal transfer printer is also available in a mobile version for any location without mains power. With a 24 V input voltage, the printer can be powered by any suitable battery. The EOS Battery Pack 2 enables over 500 print jobs per day with label size 100×68 mm and 15% coverage. Battery charge time is 2 hours. Maximum print width is 105.7 mm. Data transfer can be via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Optionally, the battery capacity can be doubled if needed—this corresponds to the “Battery Pack 4”.
This thermal transfer label printer model is very practical when no electrical outlet is available.
The CAB EOS2 thermal transfer label printer comes with a USB cable, a CD with Cablabel S3 Lite software, and the user manual.

SBE recommends: How to choose the right label printer
Options and accessories:
 |
Cutter: a blade installed at the label exit of the CAB label printer cuts the liner after each printed label. This allows you to collect your printed labels neatly stacked. The cutter can also be customized to perforate the material in addition to cutting. |
 |
External rewinder: the label roll centers automatically when inserted. This accessory cannot be used with the EOS mobile version. |
 |
Fan-fold label guide: guides fan-fold (accordion) labels into the printer for more consistent and precise printing. This accessory cannot be used with the EOS mobile version. |
 |
Standard keyboard: label templates are designed with Cablabel S3 on a computer, then saved to a memory card, USB drive, or the printer’s internal memory. Once connected to the printer via USB, the keyboard lets you complete the label template with variable data such as numbering. The thermal transfer printer can therefore be used autonomously, without being connected to a computer. |
