A compact 4” versatile SATO printer
The SATO WS4 thermal transfer printer is suited to printing labels on demand. Ideal for medium labelling volumes. The WS4 printer is the successor to the SATO CG4 printer with a more attractive design.
Different cable interface options are available on the printer for full connectivity.
Its small size makes it an ideal printer for small spaces. The resolution of the SATO WS4 printer is 203 dpi or 300 dpi, the resolution required for printing text and barcodes, 2D in particular, on very small labels, such as those used in the pharmaceutical and electronics industries for labelling of electronic components or samples. The WS4 printer prints by direct thermal or by thermal transfer. The direct thermal printer is available on request.
Flexibility of supports
The SATO WS4 printer offers the possibility to print by thermal transfer or direct thermal (on request) over a width of 22.4 mm to 115 mm. The printer has a very flexible capacity for consumables with the use of high-capacity thermal transfer ribbons. The thermal transfer model has a large space to accommodate ribbons up to 300 metres long and reduces consumable replacement times. The SATO WS4 printer does not require any adjustment before using ribbons and labels. The standard model is supplied with USB, LAND and RS232 connectivity. On request, the LAN model is available.
Use and maintenance of the SATO WS4 thermal transfer printer is easy
Indeed, replacement of consumables is easy thanks to a wide opening of the lid that includes the label printing head. Labels are easy to put in place thanks to the simple design of the label roll mechanism. The printheads and the rubber roller (platen) can be replaced without tools.
Its ease of use continues with two LED indicators that indicate the printer status. The most common WS4 applications are: sample and product labelling, wristband printing, company mailings, markdowns.
The SATO WS4 thermal transfer printer is supplied with its power cable, Label Gallery 3 Easy software and a user manual, along with the various certificates needed such as the guarantee.
