A versatile 4" compact SATO printer

The SATO WS4 thermal transfer label printer is designed for on-demand label printing, making it ideal for medium labeling volumes. The WS4 label printer succeeds the SATO CG4 with a more attractive design.
Various wired interface options are available for complete connectivity.
Its small size makes it ideal for tight spaces. The SATO WS4 printer offers a resolution of 203 dpi or 300 dpi, essential for printing text and barcodes, including 2D codes, on very small labels, such as those used in the pharmaceutical and electronics industries for labeling electronic components or samples. The WS4 label printer prints in direct thermal or thermal transfer mode. The direct thermal model is available upon request.

Flexible media handling

The SATO WS4 label printer supports thermal transfer or direct thermal printing (upon request) with a width range of 22.4 mm to 115 mm. It offers high flexibility in consumables, accommodating high-capacity thermal transfer ribbons. The thermal transfer model features a spacious design to hold ribbons up to 300 meters long, reducing replacement time. The WS4 label printer requires no adjustments before using ribbons and labels. The standard model comes with USB, LAN, and RS232 connectivity. A LAN model is available upon request.

Easy operation and maintenance of the SATO WS4 thermal transfer label printer

Consumables can be easily replaced thanks to a wide-open cover integrating the print head. Loading labels is effortless due to the simple label roll feeding mechanism. The print heads and rubber platen roller can be replaced without tools.

Its user-friendly design includes two LED indicators displaying the printer’s status. The most common applications for the WS4 include sample and product labeling, wristband printing, corporate mailings, and markdown labeling.
