The SATO WS4 thermal transfer label printer is designed for on-demand label printing, ideal for medium-volume labeling. It is the successor to the SATO CG4 printer, with a more attractive design.
Various wired interface options are available, ensuring full connectivity.
Its compact size makes it perfect for small spaces. The WS4 printer supports 203 dpi or 300 dpi resolution—essential for printing small texts and 2D barcodes on tiny labels used in pharmaceutical and electronic industries for component and sample labeling. The WS4 prints via direct thermal or thermal transfer. The direct thermal model is available upon request.
The SATO WS4 label printer allows thermal transfer or direct thermal (on request) printing on widths ranging from 22.4 mm to 115 mm. It offers high flexibility with consumables, supporting large-capacity thermal transfer ribbons. The thermal transfer model has ample space for 300-meter-long ribbons, reducing replacement frequency. The WS4 requires no adjustments when loading ribbons or labels. The standard model includes USB, LAN, and RS232 connectivity. A dedicated LAN version is available on request.
Consumables are easy to replace thanks to the wide-opening cover that houses the print head. Label roll installation is straightforward due to the simplified label path design. The printhead and rubber platen roller can be replaced without tools.
Ease of use continues with two LED indicators displaying the printer status. The most common applications of the WS4 include: sample and product labeling, wristband printing, corporate mailings, and markdowns.
The SATO WS4 thermal transfer printer is delivered with a power cable, a user manual, and all necessary certificates including the warranty.
