This information helps you better understand our payment terms and conditions.

What payment methods are available to me?

We provide you with a wide range of payment methods and will be expanding these options very soon. All these payment methods are intended for our customers in France, DOM-TOM, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

For other foreign countries, we ask our customers to pay by bank transfer at the time of order, while we work on opening more payment options for additional countries.

Available payment methods:

By credit card: Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard, and e-Carte Bleue.

This payment method is the safest and fastest. Your order goes into production as soon as the payment is confirmed. SBE does not store any credit card numbers; the transaction is processed via a secure SSL-encrypted connection directly on the MERCANET site, part of the BNP PARIBAS group.

Via PayPal: PayPal is a fast and secure payment method that allows you to pay without sharing your bank details. You will be redirected to PayPal’s secure server (SSL encrypted connection) to log into your account and confirm the payment. Once confirmed, your order will be automatically registered.

By bank transfer at the time of order: Please note that your order will only be processed once your transfer has been received. An additional delay of 24 to 48 hours may be added to the initially announced delivery time while we validate your payment.

If the transfer is not received within 30 days, your order will be automatically canceled. Our bank details (RIB / IBAN) will be provided on the confirmation page as well as in the order confirmation email. Please indicate your order number in the transfer reference to facilitate processing.

By cheque at the time of order: Your order will be processed only after your cheque has been cashed. An additional delay of 5 business days may be added to the initially announced delivery time while we validate the payment.

If the cheque is not received and cashed within 30 days, the order will be automatically canceled. The necessary information — postal address and cheque payee details — will be indicated on the next page as well as in the confirmation email.

Please make your cheque payable to SBE, write your order number on the back, and send it along with a copy of your order to the following address:

Payment upon invoice receipt + 30 days: This deferred payment method is strictly reserved for companies, key accounts, public administrations, and resellers with a client credit limit approved by our accounting department. To apply, please complete all requested information in the "My Personal Information" section in your customer account before validating your order.

If your credit limit is approved, your order will be automatically accepted without any further action on your part. In case of refusal, you will be promptly informed and invited to choose another payment method. SBE reserves the right to modify or cancel this credit limit at any time.

Which currencies do you accept?

The only currency used by SBE is the euro.

Soon, we will offer price displays in multiple currencies and the option to pay for your purchases in other currencies.

How can I pay with PayPal?

PayPal is a fast and secure payment method that allows you to complete your purchases without entering your bank details: you just need to use your PayPal account. You will be redirected to PayPal’s secure server (SSL encrypted connection) to finalize the payment. Once the transaction is confirmed, your order will be automatically registered.

Is my card payment really secure?

We take the security of information transmitted to and from our site very seriously. That is why we have chosen the MERCANET payment system from BNP PARIBAS bank, which is one of the safest available today.

When paying by credit card, you are automatically redirected to the bank’s secure servers via an encrypted connection (SSL protocol). At no time does SBE have access to your banking data, which is neither visible nor stored. We only receive confirmation of the validated transaction.

The SBE direct website uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) standard, which is the highest level of security currently available for secure web applications. SSL relies on public/private key technologies provided by Verisign, Inc. and is based on a 40-bit encryption algorithm developed by RSA Data Security, Inc.

My payment was declined. What should I do?

If your card or PayPal payment is declined, rest assured that no transaction has taken place, so your card will not be charged. You can safely try to make your payment again. First, please verify that you have entered your card number correctly and that your card has not expired.

It may also be due to exceeding your authorized spending limit. To confirm this, we encourage you to contact your bank to check your limit.

You can always use another payment method available on the site. Otherwise, please contact our customer service, and we will assist you as best as we can with this process.
