CAB specific ribbons

If you’re using a CAB thermal transfer printer and have chosen technical labels to identify your assets, opt for the CAB-specific resin ribbon for a flawless finish and impeccable label printing.

Thermal transfer ink ribbons designed for impeccable labeling quality

CAB ribbons are perfectly matched to CAB thermal transfer printers and ensure consistent label print quality. The transparent end-of-roll leader is specifically designed for CAB printers, preventing end-of-ribbon errors and protecting the printhead from damage.

Wax/Resin ribbons:
These ribbons (RM71 and RM91 ranges) offer versatile use on coated papers, pre-printed labels, or synthetic substrates. They provide higher abrasion resistance than wax ribbons while delivering the same darkness.

Resin ribbons:
These ribbons are ideal for synthetic materials and glossy label surfaces. They offer very high resistance to abrasion, temperature, and common solvents. The ribbons are UL and CSA compliant.

ARMOR AXR8 premium resin ribbons:
Best-in-class resistance to heat, common solvents, and certain chemicals. Very strong abrasion resistance. For label printing on synthetic materials PVC, PET, PP, and PE. UL compliant.

Other ribbon widths and colors are available on request: blue, red, green, white, and brown.

The wax/resin M71 ribbons provide medium abrasion resistance as well as suitability for outdoor use, and very good resistance for indoor use.

The wax/resin M91 ribbons offer good abrasion resistance and suitability for outdoor use, with excellent resistance for indoor use.

The resin R71 ribbons provide very good abrasion resistance and suitability for outdoor use, with excellent indoor performance.

Finally, the resin R91 ribbons deliver outstanding abrasion resistance and top performance for both indoor and outdoor use.

These resin ribbons—compatible with every CAB thermal transfer printer—also work with all standard thermal transfer printers from other brands and are even used by most identification label manufacturers. They will deliver optimal label print quality.

You can also protect each thermal transfer label with our transparent overlays to extend their lifespan.

All CAB ribbons are compatible with our CAB printers. The printers offered by SBE each serve different use cases:

• The EOS2 and EOS5: versatile label printing (203–300 dpi), better suited to industrial environments due to their size. Thanks to the very practical touchscreen, you get training videos to easily manage print queues for different label formats, add fixed or variable data, and even print without a PC connection.
• MACH 4S: combines high print quality (up to 600 dpi) with fast printing (up to 250 mm/s). Small and compact—ideal for healthcare and retail, especially for product identification and inventory. Also includes a screen, but smaller.
• SQUIX 2: a robust, reliable printer ideal for small labels (up to 56.9 mm wide). It combines fast printing with high resolution and features a touchscreen to simplify print management.
• SQUIX 4: Unlike the SQUIX 2, this printer handles labels up to 105.7 mm wide, while maintaining high speed and print quality. The screen makes label printing easy to manage.
