ACCESSORIES
Accessories decide whether your identification and security equipment is available when your teams need it. This universe brings together the charging cradles, batteries, chargers, power supplies, cables, protective cases and adapters for your terminals, readers and printers, along with the master keys and spare parts for your anti-theft locks. SBE Direct stocks genuine parts only.
Our RFID accessories for terminals and readers
Our standard accessories: keys, docks and cables
What does an identification and security accessory do?
An accessory handles charging, power, connection, protection or the replacement of a wear part on field equipment. Without a charging cradle, a spare battery or a backup master key, a terminal stops halfway through a shift and an anti-theft lock becomes unusable. These references govern operational continuity, not comfort.
An identification project never stops at the reader, the tag or the lock. The moment equipment leaves the office for the warehouse, the workshop, the loading bay or the classroom, it faces daily charge cycles, drops, gloved handling and user rotation. This accessory layer decides whether your fleet stays operational across three shifts, or sits idle over a fifteen-euro part.
Two subcategories structure this universe: RFID accessories and standard accessories.
RFID accessories: charging, power and protection for terminals
RFID accessories equip the mobile terminals and UHF readers in the Zebra range, along with desktop RFID printers. They cover seven needs: charging cradles, batteries and locking, multi-slot chargers, power supplies and mains leads, data cables, drop protection, adapters.
This subcategory gathers the references that fit the Zebra TC22, TC27 and TC22R terminals, the RFD40 UHF RFID reader, the ZD621R and ZD611R printers, and the Honeywell ScanPal EDA52 terminal. The 7000 mAh PowerPrecision+ battery and the 4-slot charger are shared by the RFD40 and the TC22R, so a mixed fleet needs one spare battery stock rather than two.
Standard accessories: master keys, cradles and spare parts
Standard accessories cover non-RFID equipment: tablet, laptop and desktop anti-theft locks, barcode terminals, audiovisual hardware.
They answer two needs. The first is the spare master key: across a fleet of locks supplied keyed differently, a single master key opens every lock in the same range, which allows a site manager to step in without carrying a bunch of keys. Four lock ranges are covered, from tablet mounts to laptop cables. The second is the barcode terminal charging cradle, which recharges the device at a fixed station and replaces the supplied USB cable.
The equipment these accessories fit
Compatibility is read by device, never by brand. The accessories in this universe sit alongside three hardware families we distribute.
RFID readers cover handheld terminals, UHF guns and integrated scanners. Each has its own cradles, batteries and cables: a Zebra TC22 cradle does not charge a TC22R.
RFID printers print the label artwork and encode the chip in a single pass. Their accessories concern the media: roll core adapters allow industrial rolls to run without label drift.
Anti-theft locks for tablets, laptops and fixed workstations rely on patented locks. Each range has its own dedicated master key, and a tablet range key will not open a laptop cable.
The table below gives the entry point for each type of hardware.
| Equipment to fit | Accessories available | Where to find them |
|---|---|---|
| Zebra TC22, TC27, TC22R RFID mobile terminals | Charging cradles, batteries, multi-slot chargers, cables, rugged case | RFID accessories |
| Zebra RFD40 UHF RFID reader | Reader cradle, 7000 mAh battery, 4-slot charger, eConnex adapter | RFID accessories |
| Zebra ZD621R, ZD611R RFID printers | Roll core adapters for large-core media | RFID accessories |
| Honeywell ScanPal EDA51K, EDA52 barcode terminals | Charging cradles, USB-C cable | RFID accessories and standard accessories |
| Tablet, laptop and universal cable anti-theft locks | Spare master keys | Standard accessories |
How to choose and order the right accessory
Three questions frame an order before you even look at part numbers.
- Which exact model. The manufacturer reference on each product page is the only reliable criterion. Neither the brand of the computer being protected nor the generation of the terminal is enough.
- How many units to equip. Below three devices, a single-position cradle is enough. Above that, a multi-slot charger cuts both the footprint and the number of wall sockets.
- Genuine or compatible part. On charging and power, non-compliant voltage or polarity degrades the battery cells and voids the manufacturer warranty. On locks, a non-genuine key will not open a patented mechanism. As a Zebra, Honeywell and Safe-Tech reseller, we stock genuine parts only.
Where a mixed fleet makes the choice unclear, our technicians confirm compatibility before you order and send a quotation within 4 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
RFID accessories equip the terminals, readers and printers in the RFID range: cradles, batteries, chargers, cables, roll core adapters. Standard accessories cover the rest of the fleet, mainly anti-theft master keys and barcode terminal cradles. The dividing line is the equipment being fitted, not the reading technology.
A master key opens every differently keyed lock in the same anti-theft range. It removes the need for one key per workstation and allows immediate access when a key is lost or a user is away. Each range has its own master key.
Yes. The 7000 mAh PowerPrecision+ battery is a shared reference across the Zebra RFD40 UHF RFID reader and the Zebra TC22R terminal, and so is the 4-slot charger. A mixed fleet therefore needs one spare battery stock and one charger model, not two.
No, it is ordered separately. It provides the mechanical and electrical link between the RFD40 reader and a TC22 or TC27 terminal, turning the PDA into a UHF RFID gun.
For charging, power and locks, yes. A non-compliant power supply damages the battery and voids the warranty, and a non-genuine key will not open a patented lock. SBE Direct is a Zebra, Honeywell and Safe-Tech reseller, and stocks genuine parts only.
