Honeywell ScanPal EDA52 accessories: EDA52-HB-2 charging station and USB-C cable.
The ScanPal EDA52 mobile terminal reads 1D and 2D barcodes and carries NFC. Its two accessories cover the two workstation needs. The EDA52-HB-2 charging station charges the terminal and a battery at the same time, EU mains lead included: it works as a fixed end-of-shift charging point, without tying up the terminal to charge a spare battery. The USB-C cable runs at 5 V 2 A over a USB 2.0 link to the workstation, handling both charging and data transfer, and comes with US, EU, UK, ANZ and IND mains adapters for multi-country sites.
Printer accessories: roll core adapters
Roll core adapters match the inner diameter of the label roll to the printer spindle. On the Zebra ZD621R and ZD611R desktop models, they allow large-core industrial rolls to run without lateral play or label drift, and therefore without RFID encoding offset. A poorly seated core is a classic cause of scrap on the first labels of a roll.
How to choose your RFID accessories
Three questions frame an accessory order before you even look at part numbers.
Which model exactly? The TC22, TC27, TC22R and RFD40 do not share cradles or cables. Only the 7000 mAh battery and the 4-slot charger are common to the RFD40 and the TC22R.
How many units to charge? Below three devices, a single-bay cradle is enough. Above that, a multi-bay cradle with its power brick cuts both the footprint and the number of wall sockets.
Charging only, or charging and transfer? A cradle charges; a USB-C cable adds synchronisation with the workstation.

Charging packs ready to roll out
For phased rollouts, two complete packs bundle the cradle, the power supply and the mains lead under a single reference: a single-port pack to equip one station, and a 5-port charging pack for a charging room or a logistics office. They remove the partial-order problem, where a cradle arrives without its power brick and sits unused.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 7000 mAh battery compatible with the RFD40 and the TC22R?
Yes. The 7000 mAh PowerPrecision+ battery is common to both the RFD40 UHF RFID reader and the TC22R terminal, as is the 4-slot charger. A mixed fleet therefore requires stocking only one type of spare battery and one charger model.
Is the eConnex adapter included with the RFD40 reader?
No. The eConnex adapter is ordered separately. It provides the mechanical and electrical connection between the RFD40 reader and a TC22 or TC27 mobile computer, transforming the device into a UHF RFID sled.
Are genuine Zebra accessories required?
Yes, for charging and power supply. Incorrect voltage or polarity damages the battery cells and voids the manufacturer's warranty. SBE Direct is a Zebra reseller and stocks only genuine accessories.
