The photoluminescent right-hand exit-door evacuation sign marks an escape route through a door on the right. Its green ISO 7010 pictogram sits on a photoluminescent support: even with no lighting, the marker stays bright and points to the right door. Made of rigid 1 mm PVC, it comes in 300 × 100 and 600 × 200 mm, for indoor as well as outdoor use. Neat silk-screen print, made-to-measure on request.

The photoluminescent right-hand exit-door sign at a glance

Part of the photoluminescent evacuation signs (green) range, it gives one clear instruction: leave by the door on the right.

  • An exit door on the right - the pictogram points to a way out through a door on the right-hand side.
  • Photoluminescent support - exposed to light, it keeps emitting once darkness falls.
  • Green ISO 7010 - the standard colour of exits and escape routes.
  • Rigid 1 mm PVC - a thin panel fixed with screws or adhesive.
  • Silk-screen - ink unaffected by oils and solvents.
  • Indoor / outdoor - resistant to damp and temperature swings.

The door: the last marker before you're out

On an escape route, the door is often the final step: the one that separates the corridor from the outside or a protected area. That is what this sign is for - pointing unmistakably to the right-hand door to go through. It goes where the eye hesitates: nearing the exit, at a corner, at the end of a passage.

For a door on the left, choose the mirror version facing the other way. And depending on the layout, it pairs with the horizontal directional arrow that starts the route, the emergency-exit sign that names the way out, or stair markers such as the stairs-up-right and stairs-down-right versions when the path crosses levels. End to end, these markers leave no door to chance.

photoluminescent door-right evacuation pictogram glowing in the dark after a power cut

Always visible, even with the power off

Photoluminescent pictogram sign pointing to a door on the right; visible in the dark following a power outage.

The sign's strength is that it needs no power at all. Its photoluminescent surface stores daylight or room light, then returns it as a green glow the instant darkness sets in - a power cut, heavy smoke, emergency lighting that has failed.

At that point, spotting the exit door becomes vital, and the sign stays the one reliable point of light. Unlike a powered unit, it has no battery and no cable: it works as long as it has seen light a little earlier.

A standardised pictogram: ISO 7010, MFX 08003, ISO 6790

The symbol comes from ISO 7010, the shared graphic language of safety instructions across Europe. The product adds MFX 08003 conformity and the ISO 6790 reference, which govern the symbols and colours of evacuation signage. For the operator, that means a marker everyone can read, consistent with the rest of the emergency wayfinding. The sign fits into a structured accessories and signage approach and a people security framework.

Sizes, fixing and a made-to-measure option

Two sizes meet everyday needs: 300 × 100 mm for close reading, above or beside the door, and 600 × 200 mm for distance visibility in a hall or a wide passage. Fitting is by screw or adhesive, the rigid PVC taking either. Need an exact size or added text? The made-to-measure route covers the non-standard - see the ISO 7010 standard guide, and the print your logo guide for preparing your file.

Questions fréquentes

Where does this sign point?

To an emergency exit through a door on the right. The pictogram guides people towards that door during an evacuation.

What is the photoluminescence for?

To stay visible with no power. After taking in light, the support glows in the dark and keeps marking the door during a lighting failure or smoke.

Is it compliant for a public building?

Yes. Its pictogram follows ISO 7010, and the product carries MFX 08003 and ISO 6790 conformity for evacuation signage.

Which sizes and material?

Two sizes, 300 × 100 mm and 600 × 200 mm, in rigid 1 mm photoluminescent PVC. A made-to-measure size is available.

Is it suitable outdoors?

Yes. The silk-screen print resists oils and solvents and the PVC holds up outside. It fixes with screws or adhesive.
