What the flame-retardant welder coverall is for

The flame-retardant welder coverall protects the operator exposed to spatter, sparks, and the thermal radiation of welding.

By covering the whole body in one piece, it avoids the gaps left by a poorly fitted jacket-and-trousers set. The treated cotton limits flame spread on contact with a spark.
