How does the noble wedge safety cable work?
In addition to the elegant design, this laptop lock is made of high quality materials and the 4.4mm diameter braided carbon steel cable gives it a very good tensile strength. This thickness makes it very strong and can only be removed by applying extreme force to the bracket, which would inevitably damage the product.
The safety wedge cable is equipped with a swivel head in the shape of a T-Bar that fits into the notch. At the other end is a heavy duty carbon steel loop.
The use of the cable is very simple, you just have to find an anchor point in order to go around it with a cable. This anchor point must be fixed or difficult to transport. It is this point that makes a large part of the effectiveness of the anti-theft device. We recommend that the loop be placed around a heavy table leg. For maximum security, we advise you to opt for a wall anchor.
Now that you have identified your anchor point, make a loop around it by passing the end with the lock through the loop. Finally, insert the lock into the slot and push the push-to-lock head in. Your cable is in place!
