Our laptop security station offers triple protection thanks to:

• Its screw mounting using the pre-drilled holes in the locking base. The screws are then covered by the laptop and therefore impossible to remove. You can permanently fix the locking base.
• Its carbon-steel anti-theft cable, used to loop around a fixed object. This cable connects via its end tip to the locking base for a second point of fixation.
• You can also add a Kensington laptop security cable via the dedicated 3×7 mm slot for even greater safety.

This laptop anti-theft kit is made up of 3 items:

• The locking base: with its extendable arms, it adapts to screen widths from 28 cm up to 40 cm (13" to 16"), and uses a tubular key mechanism to lock the arms in position.
• A 1.5 m carbon-steel anti-theft cable with a PVC coating and 4.8 mm diameter, which inserts into the slot in the locking base.
• Two screws to secure the anchor to the furniture.

The locking base—without the extendable arms—is 28 cm wide. When the arms are extended, the base can reach 40 cm in length. Standing 8.1 cm high and 3.8 cm wide, this anti-theft solution is slim and space-saving on a desk. Note: this anti-theft device is not compatible with laptops featuring 360° rotating/flip displays.

You can choose between different keys and master keys to open and close the security cable. This means a different key opens only its corresponding product. Each unit is supplied with a set of two keys. Conversely, master keys open all cable locks. The master key should be held by the person responsible for IT asset security.

Installing your anchor is very simple. Follow these steps:

• Screw the station into the desired location.
• Place your laptop and close the extendable arm.
• Lock the arm using the tubular key provided.
• Loop the cable around a fixed object from which it can’t be easily removed. To secure it, create a loop and pass the cable end through.
• Connect the steel cable end to the locking base.
