The CAB EOS2 thermal transfer label printer allows you to print your own customized labels according to your needs, including a logo, text, numbering, and/or variable barcodes. The printed labels have a print quality comparable to those found at the beginning of the catalog.

Our CAB thermal transfer label printer: compact size, powerful performance

The compact design of this CAB label printer makes it an ideal tool for small workspaces. Made in Germany with high-quality materials, all components and the external housing of this thermal transfer label printer are perfectly fitted together. The print resolution is available in 203 or 300 dpi depending on the selected model. With a print speed of up to 150 mm/s, you can quickly produce all the labels you need.

The display provides excellent ease of use for this thermal transfer printer. It is very simple to view and select all available functions directly from the screen.

Intuitive use, from label design to printer maintenance

Supplied with the CAB label printer, the Cablabel S3 Lite software lets you design your labels. The numerous tools available enable you to create high-quality, customized labels perfectly suited to your needs. The Cablabel S3 Lite software does not allow variable barcode printing. The Pro version of Cablabel S3 enables this type of printing as well as database connection and import from your computer. You can try the Pro version for 30 days before installing it permanently on your workstation.

After designing your custom labels, you can save the file onto a USB stick or in the internal memory of the EOS2 printer. Adding data to the CAB thermal transfer label printer is easy thanks to its four USB ports: one located on the control panel, another on the external control panel, and two on the back of the printer. You can connect a USB drive, service key, Wi-Fi key, Bluetooth dongle, keyboard, or barcode reader. This means the printer can operate autonomously without needing to be connected to a computer, while keeping your saved files in memory.

The large transparent cover allows you to check the status of the label and ribbon rolls at any time. Both label and ribbon rolls are very easy to install. Once loaded, the label roll holder centers automatically when closing the cover, while the ribbon holder can be adjusted using a stop depending on the ribbon width. The label sensor detects the beginning and end of each roll.

The printhead can be removed without tools for cleaning or replacement.

A mobile version of this thermal transfer printer you can take anywhere

The EOS2 thermal transfer printer is also available in a mobile version for locations without electrical power. Operating on a 24 V input voltage, the printer can be powered by any suitable battery. The EOS Battery Pack 2 allows more than 500 printing tasks per day with labels sized 100 × 68 mm and 15% black coverage. The battery charging time is 2 hours. The maximum print width is 105.7 mm. Data transfer can be performed via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Optionally, the battery capacity can be doubled if necessary — this corresponds to the “Battery Pack 4.”

Options and accessories:

	Cutter: a blade installed at the printer’s label exit cuts the liner after each printed label. This allows you to collect your printed labels as a stacked pile. The cutter can also be customized to perforate the material in addition to cutting.
	External rewinder: the label roll automatically centers when inserted. This accessory cannot be used with the mobile version of the EOS thermal transfer printer.
	Fan-fold label guide: guides fan-fold (accordion-style) labels into the printer, ensuring more consistent and precise printing. This accessory cannot be used with the EOS mobile version.
	Peel-off device: the printed label is separated from the liner by the peel-off edge. The liner is guided below the edge and can be torn off if necessary.
	Standard keyboard: label templates are designed with Cablabel S3 software on a computer, then saved on a memory card, USB stick, or in the printer’s internal memory. Once connected to the printer via USB, the keyboard allows you to fill in variable information such as numbering. The printer can be used autonomously without a computer connection.

Software compatibility: Cablabel S3

CAB printers are fully compatible with the Cablabel S3 software, and we exclusively offer the Cablabel S3 Pro version.
