With the compact SATO CT4-LX thermal transfer label printer, you can print premium-quality labels on rolls, individually, or in sequence. The label print quality is close to that of the pre-printed labels offered at the beginning of our catalog. You can easily identify all types of assets using text, barcodes, and logos.
The CT4-LX thermal transfer printer combines a compact format ideal for small spaces with excellent performance. Faster on average than other printers in its category, the SATO CT4-LX reaches label print speeds of up to 203 mm/s. You can print personalized labels on demand, such as barcode labels, price tags, or healthcare labels, quickly and efficiently.
With a resolution of 203 or 305 dpi, the CT4-LX can print on label rolls as well as wristbands, such as hospital patient wristbands. The thermal transfer printer can handle a wide variety of alphanumeric fonts and 1D and 2D barcodes. The maximum label width is 104 mm, allowing a wide range of labels to be printed. It features a 4.3-inch full-color touchscreen and supports 31 display and print languages, ensuring a simple and fast user experience.
Start by designing your labels using Loftware software. This software is not supplied with the printer but can be downloaded from the SATO website. It allows you to create customized conventional linear barcode labels. However, this version does not support 2D or EAN barcodes, database integration, or RFID labels.
Optional wireless and Bluetooth connectivity allow the thermal transfer label printer to operate independently, without needing to be connected to a host system during printing. The CT4-LX is also compatible with RFID technology, and can support optional HF RFID.
Once the cover is open, the label and ribbon rolls are easily accessible. This makes them quick to change, and maintenance is tool-free and straightforward.
