The SATO thermal transfer label printer prints adhesive and cardboard labels, tickets, and wristbands. The CG2 can operate in standalone mode using the SATO numeric keypad, without needing a connection to a computer at print time. Compact in size, it is the ideal thermal transfer label printer for small spaces; store or back-office operators have easy-to-use function keys for their printing needs. The CG2 can print at a minimum resolution of 203 dpi or maximum of 305 dpi, a resolution necessary for printing text and barcode labels, especially 2D codes, on very small labels such as those used in pharmaceutical and electronics industries for labeling electronic components or samples. The special antimicrobial casing of this barcode printer is made of inorganic antimicrobial material, allowing its use in environments where cleanliness and hygiene are crucial and where a high level of security is vital.
