With the compact SATO CT4-LX thermal transfer label printer, you can print premium-quality labels on rolls, individually, or in sequences. The print quality achieved is close to that of the pre-printed labels found at the beginning of our catalog. This allows you to easily identify all types of assets with text, barcodes, and logos.
Ultra-efficient thermal transfer label printer with high printing capacity
The SATO CT4-LX thermal transfer printer combines a compact format ideal for tight spaces with excellent performance. Faster on average than other printers in its category, the CT4-LX can achieve printing speeds of up to 203 mm/s. You can easily print customized labels such as barcodes, price tags, or healthcare labels, with rapid batch processing of any quantity.
With 203 or 305 dpi resolution, the CT4-LX can print on label rolls and wristbands—such as patient wristbands in hospitals. This thermal transfer printer supports a wide range of alphanumeric fonts and 1D and 2D barcodes. The maximum label width is 104 mm, offering great versatility for various types of labels. It features a 4.3-inch full-color touchscreen and supports 31 display and print languages, making it extremely intuitive and fast to use.
This printer is also available in a RFID version, supporting UHF and HF encoding to meet the most advanced traceability requirements. It is compatible with UHF ISO/IEC 18000-63 as well as HF ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and ISO/IEC 15693 technologies, allowing for wide-ranging applications across logistics, retail, and healthcare sectors.
To fully optimize UHF RFID encoding, the SRA module (SATO RF Analyze) is essential. This module ensures optimized configuration based on the RFID inlay’s type and position, providing maximum performance and flawless reliability. Additionally, the CT4-LX RFID can accommodate RFID rolls up to 115 mm in diameter, increasing autonomy and improving productivity during printing/encoding operations.
A SATO thermal transfer printer designed for easy maintenance
Start by designing your labels with NiceLabel software. While not supplied with the printer, it can be downloaded directly from SATO’s website. This software enables the creation of customized conventional linear barcode labels. However, this version of NiceLabel does not support 2D or EAN barcode creation, database integration, or RFID label design.
Optional wireless and Bluetooth connectivity allow the CT4-LX to operate autonomously, without needing to be connected to a host system during label printing. This thermal transfer printer is also compatible with RFID technology, and HF RFID is available as an option.
Once the cover is open, both the label and ribbon rolls are easily accessible. This makes changing them very simple. Maintenance can also be performed easily and without tools.
A SATO thermal transfer printer ideal for a wide range of environments
This printer can be used in healthcare, retail, e-commerce, and industrial environments.
