High Security Paper X15

The X15 High-Security secure paper protects you against document counterfeiting and alteration attempts thanks to its numerous high-level security features. A medium for various purposes and uses

The forgery of authentic documents is a phenomenon that seriously affects companies and organizations. The stakes are high. Secure paper is an effective tool for protecting your sensitive documents. Its high level of security enables you to guarantee the compliance of documents likely to be counterfeited, such as contracts, certificates, diplomas, and licenses. A contract can quickly be certified as original at low cost. It is a universal paper, meaning it is neutral and can be used by any organization wishing to protect itself from malicious intent.

3 levels of control for 15 security features.

This paper combines different control levels:
• visible to the naked eye
• visible only under UV light, with UV ink appearing fluorescent yellow or blue
• visible only with a magnifying glass and/or microscope

Thanks to these three verification levels, replicating the paper is extremely tedious, if not impossible. Some control features are not visible to the naked eye and require advanced technology. As a result, it is impossible to perfectly imitate the document.

The paper used here is known as “optical brightener free” paper, similar to the paper used for manufacturing checks and banknotes. Its particularity is that it is UV-inert and therefore highlights the UV ink present.
To achieve these different inspection levels, the paper contains various layers, allowing it to have so many security points.

Another relevant point is that the paper is also treated with a special coating that improves toner adhesion. When a laser printer applies toner to the paper, it is possible to use a scalpel or adhesive tape to remove the toner from the paper and make a fraudulent alteration. The coating improves toner adhesion to the paper by at least 50%, thus also protecting against fraud.

How to use it?

This high-security secure paper has been designed to be easy to use. It works like your regular printer paper but ensures a high level of security. This paper resists heat and bending from office printers. It is compatible with any laser or inkjet printer (black and color) as well as impact dot matrix printers.

1. Microtext and guilloches in nanotext	Texts imperceptible to the naked eye but revealed under UV light, visible only with a magnifying glass + UV light.
2. Vertical line nanotext	Text readable only with a magnifying glass/microscope. Cannot be scanned or photocopied due to its small size.
3. UV security strip	Strip visible only under UV light.
4. Guilloche background	Lines visible to the naked eye that become blurred when photocopied and disappear in case of text erasure attempts, using reactive inks.
5. Two-tone "Iris" watermark	Iris-shaped figures in two different tones, revealed only when a light source is placed behind the sheet. Embedded in the paper.
6. 3D numismatic sculpted text "DOCUMENT SECURE ORIGINAL"	Text visible to the naked eye. Complex interwoven lines create an image or word in a sculpted format. Difficult to reproduce.
7. Ghost word	Word visible only when photocopying or scanning the document, preventing any replication.
8. Reactive paper and inks	Visible reaction of paper and ink to any erasure attempts (chemical). Special coating increases toner adhesion by at least 50% to prevent potential fraud.
9. Guilloches and UV crest	Security point visible only to the naked eye under UV light.
10. Sequential number in UV ink	Same sequential number appears only under UV light, identical to the one in penetrating black ink.
11. Encrypted sequential number in penetrating, migrating black ink	Sequential number visible to the naked eye. Cannot be erased as the black ink penetrates the paper. The ink also migrates to the back of the sheet, turning red. The last 2 digits are a unique encryption key securing each number.
12. Blue microtext	Microtext at the bottom of the page, visible with a magnifying glass and printed in chromotropic ink. Too small to be photocopied or scanned.
13. Thermoreactive ink	Blue ink visible to the naked eye, disappears at +27°C and reappears later.
14. Security hologram integrated into the paper	Holograms are authentication tools on their own. They are very difficult to replicate and cannot be photocopied or scanned.
15. Chromotropic ink	Ink visible to the naked eye as blue, perceived as red under UV lighting.

What is it used for?

Secure paper is versatile and can adapt to your organization’s activity. It is suitable for both for-profit and non-profit entities. An important contract, commercial agreements, or press releases are documents issued by your organization that must not be altered or forged.
