With the help of this RJ45 port lock, the system administrator physically prevents an inappropriate and potentially dangerous connection to your RJ45 ports. This RJ45 port lock is compatible with the majority of RJ45 jacks.

Advantages of using an RJ45 port lock

This lock is the ideal solution to prevent unauthorized connections (device cables, foreign objects...) and to guarantee an optimal security of your devices. But also, this lock prevents damage to your RJ45 ports and can be used as an indication of inactive and unconnected ports.

These locks are perfect for use in schools, offices and public environments.

RJ45 port lock instruction manual

You need to insert the lock into the free RJ45 port and lock it in the port. After its use, it will be impossible to access the RJ45 ports of the computer, thus protecting the data or the introduction of a virus. You must have the appropriate key to remove the lock in the port. The device can be installed and removed without interfering with adjacent sockets.

The pack consists of 10 red locks and a key to open all 10 locks.

To guarantee optimal security, it’s recommended to add an RJ45 ethernet cable lock , because it’s complementary to the RJ45 port lock. Once a vacant port is occupied, it is preferable to additionally secure the ethernet cable so that it becomes tamper-proof.
